teachers add students all the time. i know a few people who add teachers, to weird for my taste though. and it depends on how many facebook friends to forget you had someone on your list. if you’re a loser and only have 30, then you’ll know who you add. but other than that, you’ll forget when it comes to “funny” updates. and yes, the teacher CAN punish him for that. i called a teacher stupid once outside of school hours and i got in trouble the next day
oh, and FYI making an exam harder is totally different from making an exam impossible. status sucks, but the teacher’s smart enough to know what he can do to the student while still keeping his job. now that’s cool

To all the people who say that this is out of school, so the teacher couldn’t punish them, you are wrong. One of my best friends made a hate group about some girl in my grade a few years ago that a ton of people joined, and when the school found out, she was suspended. All the people who joined the group had to handwrite an apology to her. I have also heard of numerous stories of kids with straight A’s and amazing average’s not getting accepted into colleges and universities because of status updates (and they were told this by the college heads too, as the reason why they didn’t get in), people not getting accepted into job’s because of pages they likes, and status they had, and pictures they uploaded, and kids not graduating and getting expelled all because of statuses they wrote on Facebook.
